This is a technique to help individuals access deeper states of relaxation, concentration, and openness to suggestion


Ask your client to kindly close their eyes and allow themselves to relax. (Pause)

Then get them to ...

Start to become aware of their breath and let it flow naturally. (Pause)

Now, tell them to visualize a bright white light slowly moving upwards from your toes to the top of your head. As this light moves, it relaxes each and every muscle in your body. (Pause)


If you find it challenging to visualize, relax that’s okay. Simply imagine that you're imagining, and that's enough.  (Pause)
