Here's a metaphor to regain form:

I use the Focus Awareness Technique first then I read the following

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful butterfly that couldn't fly. It had been born as a caterpillar, and it had spent its entire life crawling on the ground. But deep down, the caterpillar knew that it was meant to do something more, something greater.

One day, the caterpillar spun itself a cocoon, and it began to transform. Inside the cocoon, the caterpillar's body changed, and it went through different stages of growth. It shed its old skin and formed a chrysalis, where it waited patiently for the next stage of its life.

Finally, the day came when the butterfly was ready to emerge from its cocoon. It fought and struggled, using all its strength to break free. And when it finally emerged, it spread its beautiful wings and took to the sky, flying higher and higher with each passing moment.

Like the butterfly, athletes go through different stages before they can reach their full potential. They may start as beginners, with little experience and skill. But with dedication, hard work, and the right training, they can transform and grow, shedding their old limitations and becoming stronger and more capable.

Sometimes, like the butterfly in its cocoon, athletes may need to take a step back and focus on their inner growth before they can achieve their goals. They may need to overcome obstacles and challenges, push through difficult times, and believe in themselves even when others doubt them.

But with patience and perseverance, athletes can emerge from their cocoons and spread their wings, ready to fly higher and farther than ever before. They can achieve their dreams, reach their full potential, and inspire others to do the same.
